Ages 5–11: You’ve heard the story: the Pilgrims sailed across the Atlantic to North America in 1620 on the Mayflower, made friends with the Wampanoag people, and celebrated the first Thanksgiving. But what do you know about the Speedwell, the Pilgrims’ first settlement, or why they left England to begin with? Discover lesser-known facts about America’s early history with Kate Messner’s History Smashers: The Mayflower! You’ll receive your own copy of History Smashers: The Mayflower! to read along. Please plan to attend all four sessions.
