The Department of Public Works has been very busy the last several days! Here is just a short list:
Cleaning out the rain garden areas and storm drains around the city.
Over the next 2-4 weeks the DPW will be crack sealing streets giving them longer life.
At the waste water treatment plant Trevor has been cleaning the trough on the North clarifier and washing sludge to the digesters, plus lots of other ‘dirty job’ duties! An old control panel and it’s junction boxes were removed, with a new control panel that’s being set now, mowing and weed trimming, and UV module maintenance.
