Cost of college went up for all students at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College

Tuition and fees rose 1.5 percent for 2018-19 at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Indiana students paid $29,960 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $450 more than the $29,510 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 132 students received grants or scholarships totaling $3.4 million and 92 students took out student loans totaling more than $477,622.

Including all undergraduates (1,035), 564 students used grants or scholarships totaling $10.7 million, and 462 students took out $3.6 million in federal student loans.
